Role: Director/ Background Painter

Directing the animated short Scarlett at the Studio was inspiring and a true learning experience.

Scarlett was inspired by a real story, a little girl who through cancer had to amputate her leg to save her life. Scarlett's story sparked a drive and desire to create something beautiful.

In our film, Scarlett is struggling between her inner and outer world. As she wakes up, she remembers the unfamiliriaty of her new life. Her anxiety and fear tightens around her and is represented as a red presence, suffocating her blue and hopeful light. Scarlett finds herself again by pursuing her dreams and passion which is key to her happiness.
